Is Founder Portal a law firm or accountant?

No. We are an operational launch-support business. We do not give legal, tax, accounting or financial advice. Actual legal and tax work is performed by qualified partners we can introduce you to.

How long does incorporation and EIN really take?

Accepted Answer

Delaware incorporation usually takes 1–2 business days. Atlas companies may accept US card payments before the EIN arrives. EIN retrieval takes 1–2 business days when a US address, phone number and SSN are available, and 15–25 business days without those details.

Question 3

Can you guarantee Stripe or bank approval?

Accepted Answer

No — and anyone who does is misleading you. Stripe, banks and government authorities determine eligibility independently. We help you prepare accurate information and implement the infrastructure they expect to see.

Question 4

Do I have to be in the US?

Accepted Answer

No. Founder Portal exists specifically for founders outside the United States. You do not need to travel to the US to incorporate, get an EIN, or apply for Stripe or Mercury.

Question 5

LLC or C-Corp — which one?

Accepted Answer

It depends on whether you plan to raise VC, issue equity, or keep taxes simple. We walk through both in the readiness review; we never pick for you without professional context.

Question 6

Do you open the accounts for me?

Accepted Answer

No. You submit and control every application — Atlas, Stripe, banking and government filings. We coordinate, prepare and review. You own every account and document.

Question 7

Are third-party costs included?

Accepted Answer

No — third-party costs (Stripe Atlas $500, registered-agent renewal, Delaware franchise tax, accounting) are always shown separately from our service fees.

Question 8

Can you use Stripe before receiving an EIN?

Accepted Answer

Atlas companies may start accepting US card payments after incorporation and before the EIN arrives, per Stripe's own documentation. Some Stripe features and payouts can require the EIN.

Do you offer refunds?

Digital products are non-refundable once accessed. Service fees are refundable before the first working session begins. See the Refund Policy for details.

Which countries do you work with first?

Accepted Answer

Phase 1 is Armenia. Phase 2 adds Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. Phase 3 covers Georgia, Azerbaijan and Moldova. Any founder outside the United States is welcome to apply.

Is my business allowed?

We do not accept fraudulent, sanctioned, gambling, adult, unlicensed-financial, certain crypto or counterfeit businesses, and we do not work with applicants providing false information. See our Acceptable Use Policy.
