2. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit a website. Cookies may help a site remember preferences, maintain a secure session, keep forms working, remember language choices, prevent fraud, measure performance, understand how pages are used, attribute enquiries to marketing campaigns, provide embedded content, and personalise advertising where permitted. A cookie may contain a random identifier, session reference, preference value, consent status, timestamp, technical information or analytics/advertising identifier. Cookie identifiers and related technical data may qualify as personal information when they can identify or be linked to an individual or device.

3. Similar technologies

This policy also applies to local storage, session storage, SDK identifiers, tracking pixels, web beacons, tags, scripts, device identifiers, conversion tags, embedded widgets, URL tracking parameters, server-side tracking, browser fingerprinting (if ever used), and similar storage or access technologies. References to “cookies” include these technologies unless the context requires otherwise.

4. Why we use cookies

To operate the website; protect forms and accounts; prevent spam and fraudulent submissions; maintain security; remember cookie and language choices; save assessment or calculator progress; process form submissions; measure traffic; understand navigation; diagnose technical problems; improve performance; measure enquiries; understand marketing sources; support advertising campaigns; display third-party content; support live chat or scheduling tools; and test website improvements. A cookie will not be used for a materially different purpose without updating the notice and requesting fresh consent where required.

5. Cookie categories

Strictly necessary. Essential for the website or a requested service. Support security, spam and fraud prevention, form submission, session management, load balancing, cookie-consent storage, requested language selection, payment or checkout security, authentication, multi-step form saving, and duplicate-submission prevention. These cannot normally be disabled through the preference centre because the site may not work without them.

Preference and functionality. Remember optional choices such as language, region, display settings, saved form progress, previously selected calculator options, communication preferences, embedded-service settings and accessibility preferences.

Analytics. Help us understand which pages are visited, how visitors navigate the site, where visitors come from, which forms or tools are used and whether errors occur.

Marketing. Support conversion measurement, campaign attribution, audience creation, remarketing, frequency control and advertisement personalisation.

Embedded content. Cookies set by videos, maps, chat, scheduling tools and similar embeds. Where appropriate the embedded content remains blocked until the visitor selects the relevant cookie category or actively requests the content.

6. First-party and third-party cookies

First-party cookies are set by founder-portal.com. Third-party cookies are set by providers we integrate (for example analytics, security, video, maps, chat, scheduling and advertising platforms). We list only the third parties that are actually active on the website.

7. Session and persistent cookies

Session cookies expire when the browser closes and are used for short-term functionality such as maintaining a form or session. Persistent cookies remain on the device for a defined period to remember preferences, consent choices or analytics identifiers.

8. Your choices

Our cookie banner offers Accept All, Reject Optional and Manage Preferences. Where processing relies on consent, withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it. You can reopen the preference centre at any time using the Cookie Settings link in the footer.

9. Cookie consent records

We may store a record of your cookie choices to remember your preferences and demonstrate compliance. We suggest re-prompting for consent no later than six months after the previous choice. Strictly necessary consent-storage cookies may remain for the period required to remember the choice.

10. Cookies currently in use

The complete list of active cookies, provider, purpose, type (first/third party), duration and recipients, is available in the cookie preference centre and updated when providers change. Categories currently used include consent storage, analytics, embedded content and security. Marketing and preference cookies load only after consent.

11. Website forms

Cookies or similar technologies may support contact forms, the readiness assessment, the pricing calculator, file uploads, spam prevention and duplicate-submission prevention. Assessment responses and submitted personal information are governed by the Privacy Policy, not only this Cookie Policy.

12. Pricing calculator cookies

The pricing calculator may use cookies or browser storage to remember selected services, save calculator progress, avoid resubmitting the same estimate and improve the calculator. We minimise collected data, limit retention, restrict unnecessary advertising features, and avoid collecting full form contents, sensitive business information, passwords or identification documents in cookies.

13. Advertising cookies

Marketing cookies load only after consent. If you reject optional cookies, you can still read public content, use essential site functions, contact Founder Portal, review policies and access services that do not depend on advertising cookies.

14. Embedded video, maps, chat and scheduling

Embedded video, maps, chat (including WhatsApp/Telegram launchers), scheduling and video-meeting providers may set their own cookies once loaded. Where consent is required these embeds remain blocked until you choose to load them or accept the relevant category.

15. Security providers

Security providers may use cookies or technical signals to detect automated submissions, prevent fraud, rate-limit requests, protect login pages, detect malicious traffic and maintain sessions.

16. Controlling cookies through your browser

Most browsers let you view stored cookies, delete cookies, block cookies from specific sites, block all cookies, or clear cookies on exit. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may cause parts of the website to stop working.

17. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track

Support for automated signals such as Global Privacy Control varies by region. We only claim to honour a signal where we have tested it technically. “Do Not Track” is not consistently interpreted across browsers; where it is not honoured this is noted here.

18. Sensitive information

We do not intentionally place sensitive documents, passwords, financial credentials, full form messages or full identification data inside cookies.

19. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or object to certain processing, withdraw consent, opt out of marketing and submit a complaint. Further information is in our Privacy Policy.
